My Favorite Story Told by Fafnyr

In the story The Dragon of Lonely Island the story that fafnyr, Meilan is my favorite. It is about a girl that lives in China with her parents and three brothers named Meilan. At her time daughters were unimportant. The family treated her like a slave and she always had to do stuff her parent would only make her do. One of those things was always adress her brothers as "honorable" I thought that was pathetic. Anyway, she did chores day and night until one day when she was doing her normal chores in the forest she saw an injured dragon. Meilan promised to help the dragon and ran straight home nobody believed that the dragon even glanced at her,so Meilan took charge and found some gauze and some healing lotion and went to the forest to heal the dragon. She came everyday to care for the dragon until one day the word came that the Barbians were coming with their most powerful army. Meilan ran to the forest and asked the dragon to help her people and dragon promised he would try.As soon as Meilan had got back the Barbians were close by then, the dragon stoped them and saved the people. From that day on Meilan became a true dragon's friend and daughters were now one of the most important people in China.

Connecting to Self in The Dragon of Lonely Island

If I had to say which character is most like me, I would say Hannah, because we both are the oldest in the family. Also, we have two younger siblings. In the book
sometimes, she didn't want to be bother by her siblings and I sometimes feel the same way too.

My favorite Character

In the book Dragon of the Lonely Island my favorite character is Fafnyr the tridrake (three headed dragon) dragon.

1. I like how all the heads are nice, but they are all a little different.

My Favorite Part

My favorite part of the book The Dragon of Lonely Island is when the children find the dragon. I would be really scared if I found a dragon.I also love the stories Fafnyr (the tridrake dragon) tells.I would love to be the children in that book.
